Cheektowaga Dog Shelter Receives Donation
On Sunday, March 2nd, members of the Friends of West Seneca NY Animal Shelter stopped into the Town of Cheektowaga Animal Control office bearing gifts for the dogs.
Friends of West Seneca NY Animal Shelter is a nonprofit group formed to help not only West Seneca, but all animal shelters in the WNY area. They have been fundraising lately and have purchased Kuranda Beds to donate to local shelters. Kuranda beds are sturdy comfortable beds for dogs. On Sunday Ali Gaston and Lisa Fehr delivered 6 Kuranda Beds to Cheektowaga Animal Control Officer Scott Thrun. The beds cost $70.00 apiece. The Cheektowaga Animal Control Office is very grateful for the donation.
For more information you can visit the Friends of West Seneca NY Animal Shelter on Facebook where they have posted a story about the donation to Cheektowaga and enclosed a photo.
