BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Seven people faced charges in Cheektowaga Town Court Thursday morning, after a fight broke out at the Walden Galleria Wednesday.
Cheektowaga Police arrested 20-year-old Charles Kelly, 22-year-old Isaiah Sanders, 22-year-old Isaiah Dunston, 21-year-old Devon Skipper, 24-year-old Ashley Skipper, 22-year-old Samuel Cornish and 22-year-old Delicia Jenifer. Each person was charged with disorderly conduct.
Ashley Skipper was additionally charged with possession of a weapon, and Delicia Jenifer was additionally charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, because she had a baby in her arms while fighting.
When the brawl broke out at the mall, a man pulled out his phone and started recording it. You can see the video below, from the scene where police and first responders responded.
Billy Ali says he was working when the fights broke out and what came next, he didn’t quite believe. The fight originally broke out in front of Dick’s Sporting Goods, but violence really perpetuated inside the Park Avenue Coat Company.
Ali explained, “What they were yelling was, ‘they killed my brother, they killed my brother,’ so I’m assuming that one of them killed somebody and never got charged or arrested, because no one snitched to the cops on who did it. So I guess they found him in the mall and that’s when it all blew down.”

“Honestly what was going through my head was this is what Buffalo has gotten to,” Ali said. “This isn’t the first time this happened at the Galleria Mall, so we’ve kind of gotten used to it by now.”
Ali says he even saw one man taken away on a stretcher. Cheektowaga police say a man was treated with stitches after he sustained lacerations on his head.
