Community Crime Prevention Office

The Community Crime Prevention Office has established a working relationship with the various Neighborhood Watch groups in the community. It is through the Crime Resistance Executive Board which meets on a monthly basis that the Police Department and these various community Watch Groups exchange information. During CREB meetings, statistical data on crime is provided. These meetings also serve as a way of sharing success stories on fighting crime. Training on crime prevention issues is also a cornerstone of these monthly meetings. Neighborhood Watch Block Captains are encouraged to attend the monthly meetings and to communicate this information to their neighbors. Contact the Community Crime Prevention Office at 897-7293 for monthly meeting schedule and location.
