In honor of National Animal Control Week, we recognized the exceptional dedication of our animal control officers who work tirelessly to care for forgotten, abandoned, and unloved pets, giving them a second chance at life. We appreciate their compassion and commitment. To further support their efforts, we posted our adoptable dogs in our shelter to facilitate their adoption. Update!!! Todd has been located safely!! Thank you for every post, share, and tip that was called in. Please help us locate Todd Wright, who has been missing since April 10th. He was last seen at 4265 Genesee St. and might have 1 or 2 dogs with him. Wright may be suffering from a mental illness, and his family is concerned about his well-being. Introducing Wally! As part of the SPCA Doggie Entourage Program, selected dogs are allowed to spend time with people for a few hours or the day. We chose Wally to be a police dog for a day! He hung out with the officers in briefing, met with the Chief, was pampered by court staff, and even rode in a police car! Wally is a lovable dog who loves to give kisses, sit on your lap, and enjoys pup cups. He has a sweet and kind heart, and anyone would be lucky to have him as a pet.SPCA Serving Erie County ... SURVEILLANCE CAMERA REGISTRY

The Cheektowaga Police Department is committed to solving every crime that is reported. Having support from the community often makes that task easier to complete. If you have surveillance cameras at your location and would like to notify us that they exist, please complete the form below. This information WILL NOT BE POSTED PUBLICLY. It will strictly be stored internally at the Police Department and shared with the Erie Crime Analysis Center. Unless a crime occurs in your area, you will never be contacted regarding your security. If a crime does occur, an Officer may call or email you and ask that you check your video for possible assistance in the case. Thank You for your continued support!

Citizen Commendation / Complaint Form

If you have a commendation or complaint regarding how an Employee or Officer handled an incident for you, please fill out the attached form and we can look into your concerns. A Police Department Supervisor will contact you within 5 business days. If you wish to inform us of a traffic situation or neighborhood issue, please contact the Sergeant’s Office at 716-686-3519, or Dispatch using 911. Any non-service related situations entered here will NOT BE ADDRESSED.
