A Cheektowaga man convicted of sexually assaulting his former roommate was sentenced Monday to 60 days in jail by Town Justice Paul S. Piotrowski.
Oscar Ruiz, 50, of Williamstowne Apartments, had pleaded guilty to a charge of forcible touching stemming from an Aug. 22, 2013 incident. Ruiz originally was charged by Officer Brian Bzibziak and Detective Mike Hockwater with attempted rape and sexual abuse.
