There has been a huge demand for the God Bless Our Police lawn signs that you may have seen springing up throughout Cheektowaga. If you would like one please come to the front desk of the Cheektowaga Police Station to pick one up. The signs can be purchased for $10 a piece and all proceeds will go towards charity in the form of the Blue Mitten Project. If you are not familiar with the Blue Mitten Project, last year numerous officers from the Cheektowaga Police Department, along with Marketing Mayor LLC, picked up some local kids in the community from school and took them on a Christmas shopping spree at Target. We are looking to make this happen again this year around the holiday season and make it an even bigger event than last year. Again every dollar goes towards the shopping spree for the kids selected from the Blue Mitten Project for Christmas gifts. Please feel free to show your support for law enforcement while donating to a great cause that will make some kids dreams come true during the holiday season. Thank you everyone! ...
