Last night CPD received several calls of a suspicious green person with an odd smile stealing Christmas presents from vehicles. CPD’s afternoon patrol officers located this person. When questioned, the person identified himself as the Grinch stated “they are my presents”. CPD Officers checked out his story and determined that is was a lie and that the presents actually belonged to the children of Whoville. The presents were returned to their rightful owners who will now be very happy on Christmas morning. The Grinch will spend the weekend behind bars until his arraignment on Monday morning.
