A Buffalo resident with a lengthy arrest record was sentenced Monday to six months in jail in a shoplifting case, Cheektowaga police reported.
Lawrence T. Zielinski, 40, of Davey Street, who pleaded guilty to a petit larceny charge, was sentenced Monday by Cheektowaga Town Justice Paul Piotrowski. Zielinski had been accused of stealing $80 worth of merchandise last Nov. 19 from the Save-A-Lot store at 77 S. Rossler Ave.
Zielinski had 43 prior arrests, according to police.
