Notice is hereby given that the City of Buffalo, in partnership with the County of Erie, and the Towns of Amherst, Cheektowaga, and Tonawanda, is participating in a grant sponsored by the US Department of Justice, under the Bureau of Justice Assistance, entitled 2025 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG). This formula-grant award will be utilized to support various components with the criminal justice system such as enhanced public safety through targeted patrols, equipment and technology upgrades, and juvenile prosecutorial enhancement.
